夏休み Summer Holiday

25 Aug

So I finally sat down to write this.. I’ve been so busy lately.
Anyway, my summer holiday started july 29. So I’ll start from there:

July 29-31 (friday to sunday): DIdn’t really do that much. Spent the time at home cleaning and doing laundry. Fun huh!? :D
August 1: Went with a couple of friends to see the new Harry Potter movie. It was awsome!! I loved it so much. After the movie it was pretty late, but we still went to a playground. And I played my ass off. So much fun! I was laughing so much. The japanese people around were giving me these weird stares. Don’t know why XD
August 2: Went to the Edo-Tokyo Museum. It is the historical museum of Japan. It was really interesting. Me and my friends took so many pictures inside. And I got a bit to excited when I found out that I could push buttons on a map, and it would start blinking, haha.
August 3: Went shopping in Harajuku with my friends. It started raining so we decided to go home, but ended up at Tokyo Dome and rhode the big ferris wheel that’s there. We also bought baseball tickets.
August 4: Went to see the baseball game. It was Giants (Tokyo) vs Osaka Henshin Tigers. and omg, I love baseball so much! It was so much fun. In the end, we were sitting right in the middle of all the people screaming and singing with them. After that we ate ramen in a little cart out in the middle of the street.
I don’t really like ramen, but it was a fun experiense.
August 5: Went to Disney Sea. I was there last year, so it wasn’t anything new to me. But this time I got to ride all the attractions that I didn’t have time to do last time. And the parade this year was so much better than the one last year.
August 6: I’ve been taking dancing lessons in traditional japanese dance. So me and two friends went to senseis house. We got dressed up in kimonos and then we went and danced at different festivals. I love weraing kimono and it’s so much fun to be part of traditional Japan. The only bad part was that it was so damn hot in those kimonos. Because you are having so many layer of clothing, and it’s so hot outside. :P
After that we went back to the teachers house and he bought us really expensieve sushi. I felt kinda bad since I don’t really like sushi. But I ate a few pieces to be nice.
August 7: Went to Tokyo Doem again. But this time I bought Arashi goods!! I wasn’t planning on going since you usually have to stand in line for hours before you get inside. But I got text from a friend who said that there was so line at all, so I went there to see. And I could just walk right in! It was so nice. So now I have all of Arashi’s goods.
August 8: Hmm.. Didn’t do so much. Spent time walking around the neighbourhood and sleeping XD
August 9: Went to Joypolis in Odaiba. Joypolis is an inside amusement park. It was fun, but it’s not something that I would do again. I don’t think it was worth the money. But if you like video games and stuff like that, it can be worth it.
August 10-11: Spet time hanging out with friends. We didn’t really do anything special. Just ate and talked.
August 12: I got baseball tickets as a birthday present from a friend. So we went and saw Tokyo Giants vs Hiroshima Toyo Carp. And I can officially say that, even though I love Sakamoto in TOkyo Giants, I’m a Hiroshima Toyo Carp fan. And when I got to where their supporters were.. Everyone was like “ooh, foreigner. Come and sit with me” They literally spred the whole crowd so that I could get a seat XD And then they taught me all of their songs. Ah, I just love baseball.
August 13: Had my birthday party. We went to a beach that maybe 2 hours from Tokyo. It was so nice. But I was so surprised, because it’s salt water which I’m not used to. SO I almost threw up when I accidentally swallowed some. Not cool. And I also got a lot of birthday presents. <3
August 14: My "younger brothers" here in Japan took me to a bar called Samurai. So much fun. And in celebration of my birthday, the bartender dressed up as Rambo and walked around with a champange bottle "shooting" people, and then he gave it to me. Haha so much fun.
August 15-16: Cleaning and doing laundry again.
August 17: Went to Yokohama. My friend had booked a boat for the fireworks. It was such an amazing view. Fireworks is best viewed from a boat!
August 18: School starts again.

It was a awsome holiday. But I actually tought it was to long.
Can you believe it!? I tought that a holiday was to long.
Omg, Japan… What have you done to me :D
No, but I love my class, teachers and the things that we are studying now.

I will post later with a picture update as well… Probably not this week. Because I have so much to do. And I will tell you later about it, because some of the stuff is really exciting!
Ok, so bye for now!
